Robotech gave the seed for Go-Bots, which gave the seed for Transformers...

Nope... Animaniacs has its charms, but I really liked the Gargoyles...
LOTS of potential there... Too bad it didn;t survive Disney's takeover of
ABC... Should have stayed on FOX in the afternoons, and not tried to be
one of the dying Saturday Morning Toons... (Sigh... I remember when tehre
was actually a choice of what to watch on Saturday Mornings).

Hell, I've even done up rules for playing the Gargoyles in SR :]

'Course not! It's just that over here, we've only had the first season of
Gargoyles, and then it was on GMTV at about 8AM.

And as for Animaniacs! NAAARF!

NARF! I have a hat signed by all the major voice actors from A! They
would stop the signing line and lead a sing along when their Favorite

Okay, that was back far enought that I din't remember it. Mea culpa!

I just wanted to point out that engineers know stuff other than technical
info. Of course, maybe a cartoon theme song wasn't the best topic to make
my point on...

Where i'm at we got gargoyles in the weekday afternoon disney programing,
given all the other shows were crap but i loved gargoyles and still do just
i've seen pretty much all the eps so i can't tune into USA and find
something new although i do watch itjust to get the "good old days" feeling
:). But about it being the best american show, if you ever look at the
credits iirc all or most of the animation team had japanese or oriental-ish
names hence the highly anime like quality i'd believe.

The best cartoons ever made were the classic Looney Tunes... Everything
with the classic characters that came
BEFORE the pitiful Space Jam (unless there were other things at the same
level before it.).
