The reason, and I'm paraphrasing here, is that Tom Dowd could see the train
yards from his office window everyday, and so when he was writing the book,
he put that in as the place that got nuked. That's what the ex-DLoH said
(at "What's up w/ SR" at Gencon '95).

But that's what he says...

Actually, the real reason is that Tom Dowd (and all of FASA, in fact) are
tools of the Illuminati, who are in turn controlled from the deep astral by
the Invae. Dowd was moved to FIT when he began to figure out the plot, and
the Secret Masters started losing control of him, and a new pawn (known as
"Mike Mulvihil" but who's real name is unpronoucable by humans) was sent to
replace him. But I can't tell you anymore right now, some nice gentlemen
dressed in black are here for me.

ps: and as we all know, the Invae are controlled by, you guessed it, TSR

Good Guess Mike. Now please place your hands on your head, and ignore the
red dots on your chest and forehead.

My guess is that Mike Mulvihill is yet another persona of our old friend
Doctor Doom -- don't you find it typical that Rob Hayden dropped from the
list not long before Mike joined it?

I don't think they're evil enough for that... The bugs, that is :)

Hey, come on, make up your minds, boys - TSR means Take ShadowRun,
no doubt about that, I think.
