I'd have to agree, my wife's cat ahs a nasty habit of savaging repair
men and delivery personnel, damn things worse than a dog. It regularly
bounces off the Patio doors when another cat is in the garden,
forgetting it can't get through the glass.

Nope, cat's are just as dangerous as a guard dog.

Then again, there's always the Holy Grail wild dangerous beasty. <grin>
