my apologies for probably boring everybody to death.
There has been some discussion in our gaming group concerning the
effectiveness ofinvisibility spells, with one player arguing that,
a) cybereyes and thermographic vision as well as cameras see through
the simple "invisibility" spell,
b) thermographic vision - cyber, natural, or camera - always sees
through "improved invisiblity"
The way he sees it, it's a question of the spell bending the light,
but not concealing any heat.
The way I see it, "invisibility" fools the observer's mind (thus
effecting all types of natural vision and cybereyes, as it's aimed at
the sammie's brain) but does not affect cameras.
"Improved invisibility", a physical spell, affects cameras, too . I
can see that my player has a point in arguing that thermographic
vision is not necessariliy affected here, as it does not rely on
light, but I still would like to hear your opinion, esp. on the
simple mana spell.
Thanks for any help,
TANIA
