That's true, there would really be none else than being able to quicken
spells with more force than the one FP a spell-lock offers.
I was wondering though wether it might be possible for a magic-user who
assenses a quickened spell might read an aural imprint of the mage who did
the quickening in the spell's structure?
If that was possible,a magicien might recognize the aura of the respective
mage when he assenses it at some later point in time.

The weirdest rule I ever encountered is the one with the anchoring. It is
possible for mundanes to use anchors,as there's no necessity to bond the
item.If a mundane uses an anchor though,he is very susceptible to astral
attacks,as he wont be able to defend at them at all.An astral entity or a
projecting magician,on the other hand, will be able to ground spells or
powers through the anchor.
That fact is only emphasized through the rule that an activated anchor
defends with it's force rating and a deactivated one with half of it's
force, but there's an equal possibility to ground spells through them(not
like deactivated spell-locks or foci);and lets face it:most anchors are
deactivated most of the time because they are cheaper to make karmawise if
you configure them with activation-deactivation links.
Comments anybody?
