Regeneration (or some other name)
Cost: .25 per level
The maximum number of successes that can reduce the time to heal physical
damage is 12 for a Light and 10 for Moderate, Serious, and Deadly (See
page 127 SR3). For each level of this power, the adept may use one
additional success on the Body test to reduce the base time. This power
does not provide extra dice for the test, nor does it modify the target
number.
This bridges the gap between normal healing and "true" (ie, critter)
regeneration. Jett: if this sounds good for your character, just buy a
couple levels of this and Rapid Healing.
For (most) starting characters that means a maximum of 6 levels of each
(assuming no cyber/bio). Which drops the minimum time to heal a Deadly
wound from three days to under two days. A Serious wound heals in a
minimum of one and quarter days. A Moderate heals in a minimum of 15
hours and a Light heals in a minimum of 1 and a third hours. Still now
quite what you wanted better, I hope. :)
