Good Idea about Scipt being sort of like bearer bonds. But that is not
how I see it being used. I see it as very much like the company store
concept. I've see the coal companies company stores in West Virginia
and they redeem company script. They actually call it Company Scrip.
Without the t. That is the concept I was going with. No place besides
the company stores has to honor the script, but a lot do in the area.
For a definition of Scrip look in the dictionary.
I was pointing to currencies that could be used to spice up the method
of payment for Shadowrunners. Using untraceable bearer bonds, etc. is
also a good idea. One which I have used before.
I just wanted to clear up the concept I was going with in my Money and
all that Jazz $$$ post.
Does anyone know what happened with that post. I got it back, but it
seems that it was also posted to the list. Just Curious, the mail stub
was total garbage.
