Not to make a big deal or anything,

As I am fairly new to shadowrun and have absolutely *no* information on
Shadowrun I was wondering if someone might moint me in the direction of
some of the more informitive sites about the crossover that seems to
hold these two games together.

I am also interested in knowing more about the cultures that the
immortal dwarves/elves come from and maybe crossover rules for any sort
of magical item or character type that existed then and may still now.

being the usual pain in the arse,

1. The (or an) SR/Earthdawn (with many spoilers - only read it if you are a
gamemaster)
is at http://www.amurgsval.org/shadowrun/earthdawn.html

2. AFAIK the only (official) two imortal races are dragons and elves...

There were some dwarves mentioned in a german novel who lived during the 5th
world below Gelsenkirchen (near Düsseldorf, Ruhrarea) and to me it was implied
that they were immortal.
