I am not a happy man right now. The whole affair has left a very bad
taste in my mouth.
It all started yesterday at 10:45 EST. I logged on and went to the
FASA site to wait for BABY to go on sale. 10 CDT came and went and the book
was actuyall available until 10 or 15 minutes afterward. I wasn't that
bothered by it at the time but things got steadily worse.
I spent the next 45 minutes getting server error messages every time I
tried to load the oder form. that really started to get my some what
peeved.
Around the end of that time roun came into #shadowrun and said that he
had called FASA and ordered over the phone. I gotthe number from him and
took a risk by making an "illegal" long distance call from here at work and
was told by the nice female voice in Chicago that she had just been told
that she was not allowed to take BABY orders over the phone and she may have
to cancel the orders she had alredy taken that morning. I did get the fax
number from her though.
I was starting to get a migrane haedache at thios point when suddenly
the whole order from loaded and I was able to fill it out. I then got
another 15 minutes of "error processing your card" messages.
I did actually manage to get the fax oder form printed out and sent
some where between 13:30 and 11:45 CDT.
I got my order in before the 12 CDT all copy sold out time and I got my
copy right? I don't know. It's been almost 24 hours and I haven't heard a
peep from FASA one way or the other.
If I didn't get my order in on time so be it, I can live with that.
But I would like some form of yes of no confirmation. Is it to much to ask?
I don't think so.

Except your asking the wrong place. Send your e-mail to FASA instead
of flooding the list which is already heavy with traffic.

Only thing we can do is give you a pity party.
