Todd-thanx for the bit about the keyboard. I'm hooked up via a mac
in a school hall-I don't have anything to do with the keyboards. I just
use/abuse them. But thanx for the tip anyway.

I would like to reiterate my opinion that Nega-Mages should not have to
roll for power loss before the start of play. Who wants to pick an archetype
that may turn out to be useless anyway-take away his negation power, and he
becomes a non-wired mundane with a smartgun, who won't fill any niche until
he saves up enough Nuyen to buy some real cyber. This doesn't become abusive
if you restrict the Nega Mage to either his starting cyber or (if you allow
the power to be designed at priority B) you prevent him from starting with more
than .75 or 1 Essence/Body worth of Cyber/Bioware. If, later in the game, the
player gets greedy and decides to go for that extra tech edge, then he should
roll, but certainly not before the campaign starts.
