some merit as a cyber-punk genre flick then I oh so hesitantly put forth
the following into the "Cheesy Cyber - Flick Hall of Fame" : Cyborg 2 and
Nemesis. Cyborg 2 has Jack Palance as a Max Headroom-ish character leading
the protagonists through a truly banal plot. Palance is cool as inspiration
for the high powered decker (he has this neato negative image vibe going)
NPC, and some of the cinema is of sufficient grit to warrant the cyberpunk
approved stamp. Oh yes the female lead is a cyborg, so hopefully she has
enough cyberware to pass that criteria.
Talking about cyberware, Nemsis is just bursting with hightech
widgets, insuring its place in the C.C.F.H.F. The main character has enough
'ware to make the most hardened Sami (Street Samurai) green with envy. Or
he may just be a cyborg from head to toe, who knows who cares? At any rate
the flick has mucho SR youth culture worshipping imagery (i.e. Two stunning
-ly beautiful women in Paris fashion attire blazing away at our hero with
SERIOUS firepower in a demolished city block somewhere). And the price
to your "suspension of disbelief" fund is minimal. You just have to accept
that people really can do tandem spinning back flips off a cliff while
mowing down bad cyborgs with pinpoint accuracy. No problem.

at the end of some people's messages. I'm darn jealous.
