Ok, It looks like things have started to clear up already after about two days
of junk. Basically what we have seen these past two days is what ALWAYS happens
around mid-semester - people just get a little silly and off the topic from
shadowrun.

Its ALRIGHT. Getting off the topic happens, it has always happened, it will
always happen. Don't get too ticked off at it, but at the same time, try to
realize when it is happening and tell the people to try and get back on topic.

We have always been rather loose on the list, we're partially a family and
partly a bunch of Cyber-Nuts shooting the breeze and talking about what comes
into our heads.

Some people may be really anoyed at the junk that got spewed, I was slightly
(thats about as much as I ever get a anoyed :)

But look what has come out of this, people have put up about 5 NEW topics, this
is what always happens, these 'worthless' little interludes turn into fruitful
brainstorming sessions, they get people away from focusing so hard on the
comuter screen so that they can get a wider view and WALLA!! - we have new stuff
to talk about.


Don't expect people to always stay on topic - they never have, but if you
mention to them that they have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with shadowrun what so
ever in any shape or way - they will normally get back to the fold.

and loose half the great things that I wanted to say.

You know, I think the reason the flaming occurs mid-semester is due to
the second most dreaded of all evils, the MIDTERM!!! ARGH!! RUN AWAY!!
