Semi-spoiler for the 2057 Election:

I just read an official FASA thing about the Election. You know how we've
got six candidates? Well, by election day one of them will be assassinated.
I guess FASA will be tabulating votes on just the five other candidates.

I just got Shadows of the Underworld. Yes, there is an
assassination. It turns out that Yeats was actually a "good merge" Wasp
Spirit. Anne Penchyk (yes, his running mate) and the Mantis Spirits from
Super Tuesday take him out. It is part of a set up pinned on the
runners. I thought it was exceptionally cool.

What if they plan to have one assasinated, but the target depends upon who
wins/is winning? Mike said that they have a storyline ready no matter who
wins, so it only makes sense that any one of the candidates is open to such
a plot.

Remember, certain unnamed people may not want a certain unnamed candidate to
acheive a position of power that would allow him to tell what he knows
directly or otherwise.

Damnit! I knew I should've read it on the way home from Origins. Oh well,
it's now on the top of my incredible stack of stuff to read.

well as was said FASA beat you to it, someone obviously didn't get
enough votes, oh dear, failed primaries.

While on 'Shadows of the Underworld', very good, some nice ideas only
i think you might get lynched by your players if you run too many
campain 2057 adventures (some) are realistically double crossing or
dump you in it. Mind i have already seen the top 20 floors blown off
the empire state building :)

you coudn't be thinking of Harlequins comment at the end of 'Wyrm
talk' never :). Yes i think someone might 'suggest' the big D is
discete though being president might allow Dunkelzhan to save
everyone without having to bother telling them (hence saving his
hide), isn't control of special forces wonderful.
