After looking throught my shadowtech book, I was trying to work out the essence
cost for a C2 deck for one of my PC's, when the thought struck me that it
should be possible to place to components of a cyberdeck in to a cyberlimb.
It would be expensive to get specially molded boards, but it would be more than
fessible and think, the advantages of a C2 deck without the essense cost.
Has any one got any comments ?
Snipers.
The Tailored Phermones. If a sniper had these and unless he could turn them
off, wouldn't that leave a very personal signature (read Big clue) to who
fired the shot not to mention the chance of being smelled ?
New GM, old Player :GMing Games
Creating a short term campain, is a good way to start off. It allow the GM to
direct the group in a direction, rather than have them wandering from FASA
adventure to FASA adventure :-). You can throw in all sorts of different 'runs'
and let the players piece together what the plot is. It makes my lot happier
if they think they know what's going on *grin* and give the Ref a good deal
of reality tweeking, if you come up with better ideas.
Autofire Stuff:
One of the guys on the list did a good job on the Autofire rules, I think it
was Esper ? Anyway, I use 7 rounds for SMG's, 10 for Assult rifles and 15
for Miniguns. Oh and I still use the *3 rule, that is in full auto fire you
times the number of round fired by three to find how many rounds have been
expended. ie You choose to fire 6 rounds at the target in autofire. The clip
becomes (6*3) 18 rounds lighter.
Riggers Making Vehicles:
I found the best way to build vehicles from scratch is either to find the
vehicle in the real world and convert it in to Shadowrun. Use the real price
and then add the cost of extras (Pop up turrets etc) in to the cost.
Or for the loonies who want their characters to build a car, they need
a facility and lots of spares. Charge about 7,500 for each point of body, add
a multiplier if necessary. The body is only the chasis and minimal wiring, not
the engine or other extras.
