I'm sorry, I truly am...

No really, I mean it... But I just couldn't resist sharing this with you
all...

And hopefully anyone who will be truly annoyed will have deleted or
killfiled this as soon as they saw the subject...:)

Anyways, I now no longer worship the Woodchuck, as it is far inferior to my
new totem anilmal...

The Giant Space Hampster!

I found these on the web somewhere, but can't find the link again after I
saved them, so I can't tell you where I found them, but they're hilarious...:)

"In Praise of Giant Space hamsters"

Doughty Hamsters! Hamsters bold!
Hamster fearsome to behold!
Horned, winged, ethereal,
Arctic or arboreal.

Fire-breathing, armor-plated,
Perilously underrated,
We admire, reverently,
Your infinite variety!

Stalwart hansters! Hamsters fierce!
The belch that quells! the teeth that pierce!
From whiskered snout to stumpy tail,
Your gallantry and grace we hail!

Chartreuse, ochre, mottled, plaid,
Or in golden raiment clad,
Radient in any hue--
Wondrous hamsters we love you!

Noble Hamsters! hamsters free!
Wooly Rupert send to thee
Blessing and Felicity--
Hamsters! Hamsters! Praised be!

And of course, the greatest varient Giant Space Hamster of all:

The subtropical, Amphibious, Crimson, Displacer, Shrieking, Transparent,
Fomorian, Groaning, Arboriginal, Lamia, Heavy, War, gelatinous, Elder, Dun,
Berserker, Blood Sea, Hecuva, Guardian, One-Eyed, One-Horned, Flying,
Purple, People Eating, Astral, Ixitxachitl, Shambling, Vampiric, Beholder,
Rust, poisonous, Slithering, Volcanic, Storm, Tri-Flower, Flumph, Thessal,
Spitting, Cockatrice, Paisley, Super-Genius, Abjurer, Blink, Faerie,
Throat, Leech, Rotting, Teenage Mutant Ninja, Ju-Ju, Republican,
Charioteering, Interposing, Glaive-Guisarme, All-Beef Patty, Special Sauce,
Lettuce, Cheese, Pickles, Onions on a Seseme Seed Bun, Goblinoid,
Fire-Retardant, Anchovy, Death, Great Wyrm, Myopic, Megal, Giant Space
hamster of Fear and Flame!

Ok, that's enough outta me...

Once again, sorry...

Note to all: This originally appeared in Dragon Magazine, as a
contest about the Giant Space Hamsters that gnomes were fond of using as
propulsion devices in the now defunct Spelljammer universe. So your totem
has an intrinsic relationship with TSR, one of FASA's arch-foes........

Ahhh... Is that where taht's from?

See, it's not so bad to use a TSR Icon as a totem... Since we're warping
it for use by Shadowrunners... We're turning the Dark to the Light, so to
speak...:)

Well, I don't know where you found that, but it originally comes from a
Dragon magazine (somewhere between #170 and #200). Better watch it, T$R
will be after you for copyright infringement!
