of 7000 people, it doesn't take much to make a city for me:) Saw the new
ST movie, went to the music store, the usual bulldrek, none of the gaming
stores had *heard* of the SR Companion yet..I was major pissed, but hey, I
got some thinkin done.
Now that all the arguments have died down, here's all the info/ideas
for the new mag. I choose the name 'The Shadowrun Supplemental', after it
was suggested by a friend/listmember. Its not fancy, but as several people
pointed out, it doesn't need to be. I know that the holiday season is soon
and that you will probably scatter to friends and families for awhile, so
I'm aiming to put the first issue out early-mid Febuary. That means
effectively that if you want to submit something, it should be in to me
about the 2-3rd week of January. That gives anyone who wants to write or
do art over a month, and gives me time to work out some details too.
I'm not going to run after people for submissions, or pester you.
I'll do my share, and I hope that the rest of you can help out too. Some
things that have been suggested included Shadowlogs, artwork, and the
usual.. If it fits in Shadowrun or role-playing in general, I'll work it
into the mag somehow :)
The new web page should be up tonight, I still have to make it ;) The
url with be http://www.geocities.com/area61/6112 It will have info on the
mag, the ShadowRN FAQ's, and anything else I feel like putting up.
Submissions and ideas can be emailed to me, <fro@***.ab.ca> If its a
submission, you can attach it as a text document or send it in the body of
the email, I don't mind. Don't send attachements to the list!
Alright..I think thats all for now, and I just realized I'm late for
my last class..any questions or comments, email me.
