Same here. Zahn's writing... for lack of a better word... sucked. I got
halfway through the second book and quit. It just wasn't interesting. By
far the best Star Wars book (though I haven't read them all) was The
Truce at Bakura. It had an interesting plot, interesting characters, the
writing was good, AND I didn't have to read three books to complete the
story.
Back to Shadowrun. Does anyone have a quick review of 2XS? I know Nigel
Findley wrote it, and I like his writing, but is the story worth spending
the time to read? It's one of the only SR books I haven't read and was
wondering what everyone else thought of it.
