Well, the vampire gets no essense, and the person immediately "dies" due to
vampiric essense loss, only to be reborn as a vampire with a maximum essense
of 0.0. Bummer for them, not to mention a rather limited lifespan (or deathspan
if you like to look at it that way)

Yeah, 'cause an essenseless person doesnt make a very good meal, not even a
good snack. Why bother hunting down some cyberphysco who can probably maul you
when you can go and drain the essense of some regular person who can't fight
back nearly as well, and actually tastses good?
