Picking up with the Tir invasion again.

One morning, all of the players are watching the trid news and learn that
there is a forest fire engulfing Shasta, and that the great dragon, Hestaby,
has been killed by Tir Special Forces groups sometime in the early morning.
This prompts Binder to get there as fast as he can from Seattle, so he goes to
Kamalkahn and winds up being given a Aztechnology Tiburon VT fighter with
additional fuel tanks, and the title of Field Ambassador for Aztlan. And so
he gets to Shasta about an hour later at about the same time a group of Azzie
Special Forces show up.

Hestaby's body is burned and crispy, but in addition, there are body parts
missing, and a search party is sent out for the body parts. Binder then leads
a group into the mountain in search of survivors, and none are found, except
one. Hestaby knew something about druidic magic, and with a specially cared
for egg from one of her latest clutches, she has set about for one of her
progeny to gain her power as a great dragon, along with all of her memories
also. As for other people in Shasta, everyone is dead, including all of the
otaku children in the community there.

This is what precipitates the events of Technobabble in the home game here.

Binder then uses a satellite of alien origin (gained before the Winternight
Wars really picked up) to gain communications access with the Tir Shadow
Council, the stick used. The satellite fires a shot which makes a 10 meter
hole in Sean Laverty's back yard. They are then accused of being the
Murderers of Hestaby, and are ordered under arrest by the UN (which has linked
Japan and Aztlan together in this mess).

Most of the Tir Shadow Council flees, except for five people. Lofwyr states
that he was aware of the situation, voiced his displeasure during the decision
making, but was outvoted (he had transcripts to back him up), he remains free.
The three token princes (the ork, human, and sasquatch) all turn themselves in
and are released, but still retaining their titles as they had no say in what
happened anyway. The final person to turn themselves in was High Prince Lugh
Surehand himself, who turned in everything he could about the other IE's on
the Council of Princes (excluding plenty of juicy stuff about Lofwyr - he's
not that stupid), and he also claims full responsibility for the situation.

The UN decides that the next Council of Princes will be determined by a series
of two special competitions using the Tir citizenship games as the base
format. Anyone could join in on the games that would be held at a later date.

Then someone breaks Surehand out of prison, he quite literally vanished while
giving a live interview with GNN.

Interpol begins to hunt down the escaped IE's, as when the police got to their
estates, the estates were all in flames. Aithne Oakforest is almost caught a
week later in London.
