Okay Kama, if you have problems ordering from FASA, simply don't do it.
As you said, use the local comic shops. If you are looking for older
material, look in book stores and second hand book stores. I have found
many good condition Shadowrun (as well as other RPG books) in second
hand stores at a reasonable price. You can also try talking to the
people who run local comic shops in your area and they might know of
other places(more reliable places) to order books through.
