And here it is! Did it rid my message of the filth that is HTML
attachment? You know, the stupid part is that in the composer Outlook is
telling me that this message is plain text. But I know damn well that as
soon as it leaves my mailbox, it'll be HTML. Grrrr. Time to go
documentation diving again.

No worries. I had suspected that my mailer was doing something
funky because my messages looked different on different lists. But I
haven't been able to peg down exactly which setting I ned to change to get
it to stop.

Congratulations, your email has been stripped :)

Us silly admins had checked the box to convert html to plain text, but
we had neglected to check the box above that one to actually tell the
listserv to use the html to text option <rolls his eyes>
