The recent rash of off-topic posts have got to stop. I don't
want to have to turn into a police officer for the list, but
it's going to come down to it if we don't get the relevant to
irrelevant posting ratio back in line.

PLEASE use common sense when posting to the list. If there's a
message that is obviously off-topic (and I'm pretty fair about
this .. if it has any chance of being relevant to the Shadowrun
world, then it's fair game) don't respond to it. If there's a
fifty-line message and you're thinking of replying but the only
thing you have to say is 'Good work' or 'Me too', excercise
a little bit of restraint. I'll be happier, the list-server will
be happier, and the denizens of ShadowRN will be happier.

That's it. I'm open to comments on this ..

Okay, things are getting a little far afield here again. Let's
try and drag the list back toward what it was intended for.

These messages were posted a long time ago on a mailing list far, far away. The copyright to their contents probably lies with the original authors of the individual messages, but since they were published in an electronic forum that anyone could subscribe to, and the logs were available to subscribers and most likely non-subscribers as well, it's felt that re-publishing them here is a kind of public service.
