This is just a note that when I receive a fatal bounce message from the
list, I'm now unsubscribing the problem addresses instead of simply setting
them to NOMAIL. Two reasons:

* Bounce messages annoy me, and unsubscribing people is cathartic.
* Very rarely do accounts that are dead/buried get reactivated.

So if you bounce, for example, because you're over your quota, I'll just
set you to NOMAIL. If I'm feeling generous, I'll not do anything and let
the problem resolve on its own, at the expense of double my usual mail
volume, but saving you from having to twiddle your options.

But if you bounce because the ISP can't find the user account, or other
errors of that nature, I unsubscribe you, and gripe at the people in
#Shadowrun while doing it about those terrible people that don't
unsubscribe from mailing lists before terminating their account.

Just a FYI.

These messages were posted a long time ago on a mailing list far, far away. The copyright to their contents probably lies with the original authors of the individual messages, but since they were published in an electronic forum that anyone could subscribe to, and the logs were available to subscribers and most likely non-subscribers as well, it's felt that re-publishing them here is a kind of public service.
