[snip back story]

>Anyway, I have a few questions:

Ah... Guns, guns, guns. Without them my life would be so dull.
Ok, Fire away (Ouch.... bad choice of words...)

>- His "signature weapons" are twin Colt Manhunters (nicknamed Daylight and
>Nightshade). But anyway, does Akimbo qualify for a specialization for the
>Pistols skill?

If your character takes the Ambidextrous Edge at max, this shouldn't be a
problem.
Personally, I allow a "Off Handed Pistols/Shotgun/SMG" skill, so I don't see
why not.
But then again this skill (Akimbo) would be overpowering a little, so I
would probably make it a
complementry skill instead of a specialzation.

>- On the same topic, can I use the "signature weapon" feat from CC with
>those? CC states it only applies to a single weapon, but think Dante's
>Ebony & Ivory or Castor Troy's golden Colt M1911A1's...

Just as long as when you have the option to use another weapon (even a more
powerful one)
you stick to your guns (there it is again... god, this is bad). And
remember that the rules
say that you can't start with signiture weapon. You have to earn it through
karma and roleplaying.

>- Akimbo SA weapons shoot two bullets each (for a total of 4) per
>initiative pass, right?

Let's see.... One pull of a trigger, per gun, per simple action. Two simple
actions a pass...
Cary the two... Yeah, four sounds about right.
With a +2 TN on the very first shot for using two guns, +4 TN on the first
shot from the second gun
(off hand, without training or Ambidex and a +1 for a previous shot fired),
a +4 TN on the second shot
from the first gun, and +6 TN on the forth and final shot.

>- Now on to the serious stuff. Rigger 3 mentions (I don't remember on which

>page exactly) that most military vehicles are manned by two riggers, one

>Is any piece of equipment required to do this? I don't think a NWCN would

>be able to say "alright, you take the wheel, I'll handle the buggers behind

>us" (while of course still being able to control the whole van if I want
to).

If you were going to do the above situation, I'd have the jackpoint
somewhere else then
the driver's seat. That way a non-rigger can drive while you shoot. Of
course the Shooter
reacts during the Driver's initiative pass, so it might be best if you drove
and somebody else
laid down cover fire.

>- Do you think it's useful to get a cranial remote control deck implanted?

Nah... your head should already be full with the memory, datajack, custom
eyes and ears,
phone, transceiver, tactical computer, oritenation system and the like. But
your arms...
Now, there's plenty of room in those babies.

>- Can a drone be set up so it can take orders from two separate R/C decks
(but not simultaneously, say with a priority system...) w/o reconfiguring?

I don't think so, but then again I might have missed that.

>- Is R/C deck clustering possible? Though I doubt I'll ever need it, I want

>to know if it's possible to combine the processing power of both my cranial

>deck and my standard one (giving me the ability to control (sum of
>ratings)*2 drones). The emitters (and signal boosters) used would probably
>be those of the most powerful one, but what about additional features like
>ASIST biofeedback filters?

Wow... That's a tall order. Ummm... someone else want to cover this one?

>- What is the size of a R/C deck? I think about the size of a regular
>cyberdeck, but I may be wrong. In addition, I suppose I can fit it with a
>hardened casing like a cyberdeck. How much does it cost and what are the
>stats for it? (I don't own Matrix...)

I'd say a little larger then a Cyberdeck, since I figured the thing's gotta
have a radio
built into it for communication to drones and such.

>Okay, I think that's all for now. Though dozens more will come to my mind
>as soon as I hit the send button, of course...
>Thanks in advance! Until next time...

>-- Wild_Cat, over.

TimeKeeper, Out.
