I checked both my SR1 and SR2 books and could find no reference to leaping
other than the concentration under Athletics. So I did some number
crunching and here's what I came up with.
Normal leaping distance, including a brief (one or two steps) run up, is
equal to your Strength in meters. A standing broad jump is 2/3 this.

and
with a step or two I could push 9-10' (3 meters). In high school, while I
was running track, my long jumps were a good meter longer.]<<<<<

Running long jumps are equal to your Strength + (Quickness/2 [rounding
down]) in meters. If you don't have enough room to run, you don't get to
add your running speed to your leap.
Each success on an Athletics Skill or Leaping concentration (T#4) adds 1
meter to your leaping distance; each two successes in Running concentration
(T#4) adds 1 meter to your leaping distance for running long jumps.
Vertical jumps are equal to 1/4 your horizontal leaping distance. GMs may
disallow adding more than a small amount of running speed to vertical
leaps.
