Okay, on *THIS* portion of the topic I have to admit, I do agree completely.
The entire concept that an "AI" would assume/presume the "Persona" of
"DIETY"
drives me kind of nuts too. Personally, I found the entire idea
*interesting*, and even went so far as to call my otaku decker character
"Judas" in his tribe, just because he had a sudden urge to "send the entire
construct" to the "Romans/Hebrews", and let them feast on the internals.
IF an AI/Alien mentality (say, the "Bugs") were really so alien, I can't
believe they'd come up with to something so "common" as a Divinity Complex.
