Has anyone ever thought that Aina may not be her original name? That maybe
it's an abbreviated version of her birthname? Or, perhaps, a truncated
version?

Okay, so I have to ask. Was this a completely random question, or do you
have something in mind?

I did; I'm not so sure now. If Aina was who I was thinking, then she never
would have had to do anything to get immortality; she would have been born
with it, thus no bargain with The Devil would have been necessary.

But who else would be called "mother of us all?"

Actually there is a picture of Aina reaching into a dimensional hole opened
by her horror love interest in the Earthdawn Core Rules. The title of the
picture is "Aina reaches for immortality". Quite nice pencil work.

Aina was born immortal (or, with the Immunity; Age power :-)
Ysrgarthe lied, convincing her that he was granting her immortality.
(This from a brief synopsis hat was sent to me of Scars and Little
Treasures by a very nice guy from France, whose name I cannot recall due
to my horrid...whats that word?...the thing when you remember stuff? oh,

Which is, in part, what I was referring to.
Ysrthgrathe; what a guy.

To this day, that remains one of my favorite
pieces of art. I know it's just cheesy RPG art,
but it's such an amazing piece, with so much
impact for me. I've always wondered if Caroline
wrote all three of those books inspired only by
that image. I would not be surprised.

Hello,

Do you happen to know if Little Treasures and Scars would be published
someday??

Thanks

No. Not in English. Ever.

Don't like that? I agree. E-mail FASA. Tell them.

Ask them to publish it on their site. Ask them to set up a simple, "Pay ten
dollars, read it on the web," solution. There are sites that set this sort
of thing up already. Campaign. This is a war; I don't mean to lose. If I
don't ever read those books, I will be very, very angry. Very angry.

Drop by http://www.fasa.com. They've got contact e-mails. Talk to them.
Please. Don't let me down. Don't let us all down.

Everyone who wants these books, do the same. Ask your friends to do the
same. As your parents, your children, your childhood friends. Ask them all
to publish these books, one way or the other. If enough of us beg, ask, or
demand, maybe they'll listen.

Thank you.

Do more than that, and less in some ways. Begging may work, but I wouldn't
think it would be necessary. Demanding won't work either, and they have the
right to simply drop you like a rock.

Be human, be civil, be honest, be relaxed, be persistent. You'll get
places...and if anyone decides to go to the FASA offices directly, setup an
appointment, it goes even further when you show professional courtesy.

Not sure if you've seen this yet, but a fellow dedicated gamer forwarded this
to me a while back. It concerns the novels Scars and Little Treasures. Not
as good as reading the novels, but it's something.

Hello All,

I agree with K. Working with customers as I do had teached me something:
Politeness and courtesy are some of the best weapons to have when dealing
with customer.

I cannot go to Fasa offices since I live in Venezuela, here in South America
but definitively I will drop some messages in Fasa web site.

Byer for now
