Hrmm...I thought I had this all worked out. I asked every nagging
question I had about Skillwires, Skillwire accessories, Skillwire
colours, Skillwire politics. Now, the price of chips rears its ugly head.
How much are these darn things, anyway? There's a nice table on p.
296 that gives costs, sure, but then the description of the Skillsofts
says to check p. 304 for program costs and availability. So am I
paying Mp*X nuyen for the physical chip, and then Mp*Y for the program?
A Rating 5, general Activesoft, let's say, would be 75 Mp. Using the
above example, it would cost 22,500 nuyen. Using only the table on p.
296, it would be 7,500. That's quite a difference. Any ideas on
what's correct?
