Hi chummers

I have youst started to create an Ally for my magican.(using Grimore II riles)
And in this rules stands:
"The mental attributes of the ally are the same as the creators
ate the time of creation"
And now my question, what happens if the magican has bound, quickend
or is sustaining the spell increase Intelligence +4? Do the Ally
get the higher (spell increased intelligence) or the natural
magican intelligence ?

Bye

I would say: The Magician's Natural Intelligence attribute in this
case.

Use natural, "permanant" ratings. A spell lock or quickening isn't
permanant, though the effects of some of the nifty bioware are.

Just a quick question, needing a quick answer. Does allies count
against the maximum number of bound spirits? And can you have more than
one ally ?

You have enough karma points for thinking about a second ally?
Wow, I'm impressed. I saving for my first one for a year now.
(Always finding a better thing to do with the karma, *sigh*)

I don't think you are allowed more than 1 ally spirit at a time but
to be honest i don't know how you would keep the things alive for any
reasonable ammout of time in a game where you could afford one. I
reckoned on about 100 Karma for one worth even contemplating last
time i added up the absolute minimum requirements i would want for a
PC of mine (force 6, a grade at the same time to avoid magic loss,
quicken some spells (eg + body & will) on it to give it a chance plus
a few of the abilities and some skills) If you make them any weaker i
think they will last about 2 runs at most if used as they would make
very tempting targets and i have seen force 8 and 10 spirits disopsed
of in short order, the best being two force 10 fire elementals by 1
split target spell, but that was the 275 odd Karma NPC (who i try
very hard to keep out of most situations involving dice, and he DOES
NOT go on runs with the players, though certain party members would
probably kill him given a chance, not that those PC's have even met
the guy more than about 3 times).

I also wonder Stefan where they get the Karma though PC's with
hundereds of points and even over a thousand have been heard of.

If you use the karma to initiate, you could get yourself an ally as a
familiar...
