Ok, I just went through my mailbox and cut about 723 messages down to 259
so you might see some response to some old posts (like this one) that I
forgot about :)

I mentioned in another post that I was thinking about making an Ally
Conjuring Adept and here's my preliminary ideas:

Option 1: 5 BPs/C priority Magic Pick [D for Metahumans]: Summons only
Allies ...If the Ally goes free, the mage is kind of screwed since he/she
can't make quest to find the true name ...

Option 2: 15 BPs/B priority Magic Pick [C for Metahumans]: As Option 1,
but can temporarily give the ally normal spirit powers. The adept does
this by strengthening the Ally's connection with it's native plane. The
Adept makes a summoning test as if summoning a spirit equal to Ally's
current Force, each "service" gained either gives the Ally access to one
spirit power or gives one use of the power (ie Bob rolls 4 successes
summoning a City Spirit "into" his Ally, he uses 2 services to allow the
Ally access to Concealment and Guard, and has two services left to actual
use those powers. If he wanted to use Alienation, he'd have to use 1
service to allow the Ally to access the power and one more to use the
power.) Summoning a Spirit "into" an Ally follows the same rules as
summoning a normal spirit with the additional restriction that the spirit
"summoned" is from the same metaplane as the Ally.

I know, it's kinda whacked but what do you think anyway?
