You know you're an Online Shadowrunner when...

# ... you understand what the term BABY really means.
# ... you have searched Ebay for a BABY to call your own.
# ... you have a BABY of your own.
# ... you've named your BABY.
# … your BABY has more signatures in it than your High School Yearbook.
# ... you're like a parent with your BABY in that if anyone goes to
touch it without express, often written, permission from yourself you
have threatened them with significant acts of violence.
# ... you know what the following terms or anacronyms all mean ...
"DRF, FASA, Plastic Warriors, BKK, HHH, TSS, BadKarma, SR, Bulldrek."
# ... you know the web site address of all of the previous by heart.
# ... you know the names of the coordinating staff of each of those web sites.
# ... you can name all the DLOH in order and give the dates when they
changed hands accordingly.
# … the DLOH knows who you are.
# … you've met a DLOH.
# … you've met more than one DLOH.
# … you know what ShadowRN, Plot-D, and ShadowTK is, and what NERPS
and SRCreate were.

# … including ShadowGM.
# … you remember when the ShadowRN lists were on jackpoint.org.
# … you remember when the ShadowRN lists were on itribe.
# … you remember when the ShadowRN lists were on Haern.
# ... you understand what the terms "Old Timer, Carp, Gurth's Stairs,
Dumpshock, etc..." all refer to and where they are used most.
# … you know what the Tickle-Me-Dunkie and Dinky Dunky is.
# ... you've ever made a stuffed Great Dragon doll.
# … you've spent time on #Shadowrun on Undernet IRC.
# … you know who Fro is.
# … you know who WildAngle is.
# … you know what CaptChaos, Mostafavi, and Fastjack are.
# … you visited Shadowland.org when it was still in it's first incarnation.
# … you know what TopCat's Manifesto is.
# … you have a copy of TopCat's Manifesto.
# … You remember "name the quote, win a prize"
# … you know what the term THWAP means.
# … you've been THWAPed.
# … you have the big THWAP Carp ASCII graphic on your hard drive.
# … you know MC23, Barbie, Gurth, or Dvixen's real name.
# … you remember Invasion Force.
# … you were a part of Invasion Force.
# … you weren't part of IF, you were defending TK from IF.
# … you know who Bob is.
# … you know what the FCotSB is.
# … you've been incubated into the FCotSB.
# … you're a member of the Anti-boB Liberation Front.
# … you spell it w**dch**k to avoid mail filters.
# … you know WHY it's spelled that way.
# … you remember why w**ch**k's, Tea, FAB Bats, Peanut Butter, and
Vegemite are all forbidden topics.

According to Bull, on 5-8-06 15:26 the word on the street was...

You can say that again ...

> # ... you understand what the term BABY really means.
> # ... you have searched Ebay for a BABY to call your own.
> # ... you have a BABY of your own.

Check x 3 :)

> # ... you've named your BABY.

Nah, I didn't go _that_ far -- but I did put a tiny orange-red Bob
sticker in that that Dvixen gave me, does that count? :)

> # … your BABY has more signatures in it than your High School Yearbook.

Since I don't have such a yearbook ... check.

> # ... you're like a parent with your BABY in that if anyone goes to

I do tell people to be careful with it, on the rare occasions I actually
use it ...

> # ... you know what the following terms or anacronyms all mean ...
> "DRF, FASA, Plastic Warriors, BKK, HHH, TSS, BadKarma, SR, Bulldrek."

I can't place BadKarma, but all the others: check again.

> # ... you know the web site address of all of the previous by heart.

Not anymore :(

> # ... you know the names of the coordinating staff of each of those web
> sites.

Of many, yes. Met quite a few of them, too.

> # ... you can name all the DLOH in order and give the dates when they
> changed hands accordingly.

Only years, not dates. Otherwise: check :)

> # … the DLOH knows who you are.
> # … you've met a DLOH.
> # … you've met more than one DLOH.

Check x 3.

> # … you know what ShadowRN, Plot-D, and ShadowTK is, and what NERPS

> # … you are (and were) a member of ALL of those lists.

Check for all of these, I think. Although I'm not 100% sure about Plot-D.

> # … you remember when the ShadowRN lists were on jackpoint.org.
> # … you remember when the ShadowRN lists were on itribe.
> # … you remember when the ShadowRN lists were on Haern.

Definitely four checks.

> # … you know what the Tickle-Me-Dunkie and Dinky Dunky is.

Oh, the memories ... ;) Check.

> # ... you've ever made a stuffed Great Dragon doll.

Uhm ... no, definitely not :) I don't remember who it was that made the
pattern, though ...

> # … you've spent time on #Shadowrun on Undernet IRC.

Not much, and not in the last 7 or 8 years, but check.

> # … you know who Fro is.

You mean "was" ;) But check.

> # … you know who WildAngle is.

That rings a bell, but I don't remember who it is/was :(

> # … you know what CaptChaos, Mostafavi, and Fastjack are.

Check.

> # … you visited Shadowland.org when it was still in it's first incarnation.

Nope.

> # … you know what TopCat's Manifesto is.
> # … you have a copy of TopCat's Manifesto.

Another definite check on those two.

> # … You remember "name the quote, win a prize"

Sorry, no ...

> # … you know what the term THWAP means.
> # … you've been THWAPed.
> # … you have the big THWAP Carp ASCII graphic on your hard drive.

All three :)

> # … you know MC23, Barbie, Gurth, or Dvixen's real name.

Two out of four anyway.

> # … you remember Invasion Force.

Check.

> # … you were a part of Invasion Force.
> # … you weren't part of IF, you were defending TK from IF.

No, not me.

> # … you know who Bob is.

Know? I still have bOb somewhere.

> # … you know what the FCotSB is.
> # … you've been incubated into the FCotSB.

Two checks. I was one of the first members, even.

> # … you're a member of the Anti-boB Liberation Front.

Never! Who do you think I am, that Spice Girl's brother? ;)

> # … you spell it w**dch**k to avoid mail filters.

Not anymore ;)

> # … you know WHY it's spelled that way.
> # … you remember why w**ch**k's, Tea, FAB Bats, Peanut Butter, and
> Vegemite are all forbidden topics.

Check x 2.

So what does that make my score? *some counting later* 35 out of 45, if
I'm not mistaken. Not bad, if I say so myself ...
