Hi. Where do people generally have the dividing line between Amazonia
and countries further south? I'm wondering because of a reference to
"Araucania" in Theran Empire pg 68 (regarding a far western land with
feathered dragons). The Araucanian Indians inhabited the geographic
area of Chile and Argentina (or at least its northern portion), but
were driven southward by the
Incas. http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Crete/2954/index.html is of
interest in this regard.

Yours,

-Allen

I don't believe very much about that is said anywhere; almost every time
South America is mentioned in SR books, it's Amazonia that's being referred
to. Besides that, we know Peru is still around (see one of the runs in
Harlequin), but I don't think any other countries in the region are
mentioned.

Wordman's Sixth World site probably has more information;
http://divnull.com/lward/sixthworld/ is the URL, IIRC.

Ah. Peru would be north of Araucania by most measures (Brazil extends
south of Peru).

Already looked there, and he doesn't list any other official
info. I'll forward him a copy of my original email in case he didn't
see it on the list...

Thanks,
