The question I have about ancoring is the target number thing, if you
anchor to an item made out of like wood or stone target is three(lower
if you enchant) for the spell success test, if I interpret correctly
that means for 6 karma (perhaps eight) I have a renewing super fireball,
that is effectively unstopable. My targets are 2 (I enchanted) and now
my big area of effect physical comabt spell with activation that works
like a grenade after I say the magic word can be thrown at a troll and
still have the ten success I rolled (target 2) irregardless of his body
or shielding. (suggestions, fixes, errors in my logic, would be
appreciated)

Also with anchoring and shielding do you pay the cost for the effective
force, or the the force that applies for drain. So if I use a
expendable fetish for the above spell do I pay two less karma when
preparing the object of anchoring?

An instantaneous spell has to be re-anchored each time it's used. Doesn't
cost more karma, but it should cut down the magical grenades.
