What with people bringing up the idea of Reboot in the shadowrun matrix, I
thought up an idea that could justify the non-decker characters being there
without a hitcher jack....

This is evil.....

How about this...

A megacorp has come up with a new type of nano-bot specifically designed to
lodge in the brain and act as neuro-implants without the surgery.
Of course, being nanites, they are only temporary, so their best use is
against people....

So, the characters are shot with some darts full of these things.
The nanites take up their new home, everything seems the same to the
characters until the nanites are activated....

Then, the charming female voice echoes in their heads....
"Warning... Incoming Game.... Warning... Incoming Game..."

If the "user" wins, they suffer deadly stun.
If they win, they're unharmed.
Deckers can actually use the nanites in some way, being familiar with the
matrix, and can have more control over the environment (Via a "keytool" they
notice they suddenly have on their wrist. Called Glitch... And they're
wearing the Guardian uniform.....)

Evil enough?

Ok, what is a guardian, and what can he do with a Glitch?
Is there anything special to the environment the players act in? I
understood it would be some computer game they must win against a
player. Is this correct? How can they interact with each other and the
scenario? Can they bring in any equipment? Or skills?
You see, I really don't know much about this...

Thanks for any help! This sounds so good I will let my players suffer
through it one day ... [EGMG]
