Meine Kamaraden:

Achtung! Achtung! Let it be known that for all administrative
and personal inquiries and other correspondence directed to my person
should now adopt a different address:

jch8169@*******.tamu.edu

Thus re-locating it from the olde tamsun account.

My reason?

The level of data-traffic has markedly escalated on the cluster
here at Texas A&M, as more of the experienced VAX users' network
pilgrimages lead them to the more versatile land of UNIX, and as more
network novices stumble upon it. The System Operators have brought
another mainframe on-line as of this preceding semester. The knowledge,
and consequently the usage of this recent cluster expansion is presently
far less than that of the other UNIX machines. As a result, I elected
for a re-location, seeking cooler climes, abundant rainfall, and lesser
load ratings.

Technically, my TAMSUN and SUMMA accounts shall remain active, but
owing to my present emphasis of TAM2000, any messages dispatched to the
former two locations shall, in all likelihood, experience marked delay in
receiving any response.

Do you not think that this option already occurred to me?

Indeed, I considered and summarily discarded this alternative as:

1) I desire to utilize these accounts for significantly less intensive
pursuits than list administration and participation.

2) The overshadowing and overriding concern of maximum storage quotas.

Hence, I elect to permit the accounts remain separate in their functions
and correspondence; truly, I DO NOT desire that all my mail be deposited
into one account!

Thus, It was with these issues in mind that I CHOSE not to invoke the
.forward function. Though it may inconvenience some, it is a matter of
my perference.
