I'm just curious, but why require contestants to get a hotmail
account? For the ease of filtering, or is there some other reason.

It doesn't have to be Hotmail (that's just the example). I just
want the entries to be completely anonymous, hence the funky
address request.

That being the case, then I highly recommend SSMail
<http://www.ssmail.com>;. Streaming voice mail and voice recognition
(speech-to-text) over the Internet. Not bad for a free e-mail service, and
it beats the crap out of Hotmail any day.

Damn it, Jon, you're on the SR Writer's Forum - you
should know that.

And yes, that's exactly why Rat does that. Previously,
she just asked that anyone she knew who was submitting
a story create a "fake" email address to send from.
After the past few contests, she'd probably knew that
any writers who seemed to be from Redneckville, or had
once starred in Star Wars was actually me. :) So she's
standardised now.

Smart cookie. Only took her four contests to figure
that one out...;)
