Recently I have been playing Torg in addition to my SR and
Vampire chronicles and have created a character that is
a good example of what a munchkin isn't:

This characters is a were-rat that believes that God has
punished him for his previous "lustful" activities by
cursing him with his present form. Recently his parents
were killed by an angry mob that discovered his secret.
Now he wanders around "punishing" those bitches that made
him what he is. He is also a recovering cocaine addict that
has quite the death wish.

Skill distribution:

Combat: 1 point total
Social: 5 points
Physical: 5 points (mostly to keep him alive since the social skill
is mostly taunting)
Misc: (like cooking) 2 points

Weapons:

jeweled knife (2 inch long blade.)

Plot:
This character, Erik Dre, is falling into an abyss of self loathing
and depression. Unless his new found friends help him. He will
drag the rest of them with him when he dies.. He has no regards
for the consequences of his actions. He is also a coward at heart.

Another interesting point is that he won't change into his were
form by his own will. This angst ridden character almost got
himself and the pther party members killed the last game..
(when after being ordered not to carry on his crusade against the
hookers, he stormed out into a bad neighbor hood. He nearly killed
himself with a chainsaw trying to keep from being captured by the
other party members..)

"The nice man who had subsequently acted so oddly to being shot at."

Well,
This has nothing to do with the original post. It's just that the
topic line applies, and I thought I'd use it. :)
All the talk on Phys Adepts lately got me to thinking about them.
I'm not too sure really why I like Phys Adepts so much... but I do. I
think it might be that they're so sneaky. They look completely normal, but
watch out! they'll take you by surprise.
Anyways, this a Phys Adept I came up with. He's not munchkinous, and
I think he'd be a lot of fun. Of course, he'd probably get geeked, but...

Priorites: A Skills, B Magic, C Attributes, D Resources, E Race

Strength: 2 Intelligence: 6 Quickness: 6 Charisma: 2 Willpower: 2 Body: 2
Reaction: 6 Essence: 6 Magic: 6

Skills: Stealth: 6 (12)
Athletics: 6 (8)
Demolitions: 5 Plastic Explosives: 7
Thrown Weapons: 6
Electronics: 6
Negotiation: 6
Biotech :3 First Aid: 5

Phys Ad Abilities: +6 Dice Improved Ability (Stealth) 1.5 Magic Points
+2 Dice Improved Ability (Athletics) 0.5 Magic Points
Astral Perception 2.0 Magic Points
Improved Senses: Thermographic Vision
Low-Light Vision
Vision Magnification Levels 1-3
Flare Compensation
Hearing Amplification
Damper
2.0 Magic Points

This guy is a spy. There's just about nothing that he can't see or hear.
If I were to take the optimists view that Phys Ads can get Vision Mag 3
for only .25, I'd probably give him Ultrasonic hearing and another point
of Athletics.
He's also *BIG* into explosives. :) I gave hjim throwing weapons so
he could use grenades. :) I picture him going into an area of a meet,
sneaking around and laying booby traps. A "Mad Murdock" type of guy.
Anyways, I'm not sure why, but I like this guy. If I ever get into
another campaign, I just might bring him along. :)
