Now for my reasoning as to the relevancy of the debate on Magick's existence
in this timeframe. If Magick did not exist in this timeframe that would
leave only 17 years for Magick to get to sufficient levels for a dracoform to
come out of "hiding". Magick is a cycle as stated by FASA in Ehran's speech,
and that it takes THOUSANDS of years for Magick to get to levels sufficient
for a dragon to come out of hibernation or to enter hibernation. With this
in mind, the Magick debate would have a major effect on FASA's timeline. It
took 1 thousand years after Throal's founding for the Scourge to occur, and
it is supposed to reoccur 2 thousand years after the current Shadowrun time
period. Magick does not disappear nor reappear overnight; it takes TIME for
the cycle to proceed. FASA places the date for the REALIZATION of the return
of Magick at Dec. 24, 2011.
I did about an hour of research to get only this much evidence for my
position, and I thought I had more. :)
