Anyone out there ever design a campagin or run around a movie
idea. I know this is an old idea, but I am looking for ideas around
Blade Runner mixing it with, lets say, aliens for example.
Thanx

I have recently been looking at both Highlander and Predator2. How
about that? A predator hunting the PC's. Anyone got any thoughts on Stats
for a Predator?

As Adam has mentioned, we have met Immortals from Highlander. I think the
only reason we never faced an Alien or Predator was either A. We didn't
have enough time before the game broke or B. They just weren't lethal
enough for Adam's tastes. We did face something that looked a little like
the dog-Alien from Aliens3, except that it was virtually unwoundable and it
mounted twin plasma cannons.

The game reminded me sorta of a Call of Cthulhu game; you know you're hosed
from the moment you enter the game, but there's a morbid fascination in seeing
just how it happens and how long it takes. Great fun though.

One time, a PC in one of our games cast a "Detect Enemies" spell. He collapsed
on the floor, holding his head and wailing "The world is large and hostile!"

Great game. I miss it terribly. I just haveta give Adam a hard time cuz he
hasn't logged in since Tuesday. :)

Ungodly quickness. About a 9 strength and body. Higher than average
int. At least a serious allergy to Terran atmosphere. IR vision only
(naturally it has IR).

This is before the toys it has.

Even without most of the toys, he should be a match for your average ronin.
Go read Aliens vs. Predator; these guys hunt Aliens with little more than
their bare hands.

Robert> This is before the toys it has.

Speaking of which... :)

The "cloak" which renders it practically invisible (though motion and sonic
detectors can still track it). The helmet/filter assembly which controls
the shoulder blaster and vision filter. Forearms claws, spear, smartdisc,
shoulder blaster, and body armor.

I figure they are basicaly smart, fast trolls in terms of stats.

Except for the smartdisc, almost all of these exist in one form or
another in SR. The Should Blaster needs tweaking to make it an energy
weapon and not a rocket launcher. You also forgot that net.

Also don't forget that mix-with-glass first aid kid.

And the 1800's pistol. That's an important weapon.

That works. They're a bit smaller than your average troll, but their body
tissue is somewhat denser than human/mamalian flesh.

Oops, yeah, I did, didn't I (sorry, but you don't get a net in the AVP game
for the Jag :) (and no, I don't have one, yet <sigh>).

Yup.

But of course :). Trophies are always important.

Well, my campaign is sufficiently wacked, but it's mostly original.

And that mean metal spear! and of course that self
destruct-mechanism. Now that would be fun to set-off in Seattle :-)

I think the only problem I can see is that 'deadly disc'

BTW what damage code do you think the blaster would have?

This is the kind of thing that makes GMing worthwhile. Screams
of anguish. Pain. Sharp acrid reek of fear.

Heh. Because death would be an easy out.
