Okay, I can almost agree with Wolfstar on this. AOL did go a long way into
making things work "for the common user". It also went a long way toward
getting the connections for people with only a good Checking Account. Sure,
it's a bit more than a credit card, but it's great.
As for IRC. I can interlink mine to AOL, but I just can't get AOL to
consistently realize that I'm still using it, even though I'm not using it's
-direct- connections or channels.
