I hereby publically apologise to Robert for implying that he might have
tampered with my mail. Although some people may play jokes with mail,
you've well and truly convinced me that you don't.

In my defense, I'd add that the order that the mail arrived in my
mailbox was unfortunate, since I was working from the assumption
that something was deleting just those posts where I followed my
use of the `Not SR' in the subject line, and then suddenly it
looked like the subject for the mail about the disappearing subject
lines disappeared too, as though by some evil agency.

Yet 'twas only unhappy chance.


So - this is _my_ apology to you, Robert.

According to my current theory, the subject line for this post should
read `Apology (was Re: Luke's Mail) (Not SR)'. If that has worked, then
I'll give up using the Reply function, and stick to pasting-in
SHADOWRN@*****.BITNET by hand.
