As in SR3, Magical Resistance power doesn't exist anymore, this must be
handled using SRII rules. In that case, IMHO if the nosferatu has no
successes, it would add its Essence to its Body test. Although the power's
description in PAoE says it works against "spells," I'd extend it to
physad abilities, which after all are magical. So the adept would probably
not find it too difficult to hit the target, but causing damage is a bit
harder, especially against a well-fed nosferatu.

Yes, as according to the Critters book there is no Magical Resistance
power and nosferatu (p. 38) don't have it :)
