Something that apparently needs to be pointed out after trawling a
few Shadowrun sites....

Light military armor ISN'T light armor!

Other than that, there's a lot of good stuff around, but I'd suggest
being careful about what you use and what not to. The HHH site is one
of those - good site, some very okay ideas, but everything's not for
everyone.

BTW. is there two shadowrun web rings, one german and one english?
It seemed that way, and that it was possible to go from the english
one to the german one.. but not the other way around.
(At least I got stuck on german sites after trying 'random'.).

Regards,
Fade

There's The Shadowrun Webring, run by Lady Jestyr and myself, then there's
a German one (Run by Barbie?), and I believe one for Hungarian sites, and
maybe even one for French sites..

Some sites are members of bot the German webring and The Shadowrun Webring,
since the German webring was created after several german sites joined TSW.

You may get stuck on some sites if they don't have the Webring code
included or have it included improperly, and we're doing our best to find
those sites and talk to the maintainers about fixing them up.

Boy now ain't that the truth. Just a note, Mike B. and I are holding back a
LOT of material that we've been brainstorming due to this screwing piece of
paper (actually, a small collection) filed away in Mike's room (they are still
there, yes Mike??? :P

When the time comes (sometime AFTER MitS comes out), be prepared, there is a
LOT of stuff that we wanted to suggest, but followed the rules as best as
possible and playtested only what was in those notes. And I'm certain other
members of the playtester's group will also have notes. So when MitS does
make it out (begging for Christmas, but doubt's he's been that good for Santa
;), I'm sure there will be an informational explosion.

I've noticed that too. I do believe there is, but it would be nice if someone
could clarify. I keep thinking I saw a second set of webring links that even
looked like the one that Lady J brought about...

There are three Shadowrun Webrings, actually - there's the one I run (with
help from AdamJ, the nice chap that he is), the biggest (*proud smirk* -
we're _the_ number one games-related webring, and we're number 92 overall
out of tens of thousands of rings).

Then there's the German one, which only accepts German sites, and the
French one (ditto for French sites). There's also one for people who play
on Shadowland.org, and there may be other language-specific ones as well.

Incidentally, after things at work quieten down a bit I shall be doing a
bit of a cleanup of the Webring, which will include politely asking all
those German- or French-only sites to move to the appropriate ring.

It's actually run by a guy called Christian Peterson.

Ahar! I got ya all! You loosy villains of British/australian/americans!
You will try to conquer the Shadowrun Universe with your unworthy little
language while seperating the other MORE SR IMPORTANT languages out of
your Webring! Unbelivable! I will phone up the chancelor of germany, no
I will call for the EU to intervine, ah, heck this is something so
important, it HAS to be discussed at the UN! Yes, I will pull all
triggers available to end this conspiracy against non-english languages!
Cut the lines to australia I say, before it is to late!
