Oh YEAH!!!!! Body x Body x 5 x the Number of Points of Armor....put a
"0" in that "Body" part....OH YEAH!!!!! Goof UP!!!>>

So what about that resistance test? No Body = no resistance dice =
auto-damage.

Actually, I was looking at it from the humoristic point of view. If a
Vehicle (Drone), using vehicle rules, had enough hardened armor, it remains
absolutely immune to everything, in theory. Sure, it has not body dice to
rule, no argument there, but I believe you get the joke...

Actually, I totally missed it, I forgot the way vehicular armor works.
Probably what I get for reading mail while still recovering from first
quarter finals...

I'm not sure how funny the joke is though...My (former) players probably
would try to pull that one on me...at least one or two of them would try,
anyway:)

Guess I'll probably lurk for a while yet before I go back to being an
active listmember:) Or at least sleep a bit more (that would be nice...)

<Mental Note: disallow armor on Body 0 drones before using R2 in play>
Back to lurking...

Which is why I made damn sure that each Body 0 drone I wrote up in the Toys
chapter had a footnote that said explicitly, "if it is hit, it is
automatically destroyed."

Which is why I pointed out that a drone with armor, vehicle armor to boot,
actually could get away with stuff. Yes, I very distinctly remembering
reading the thing about "automatically destroyed" and started chuckling....

"Wow, a FASA guy who's going to put his foot down for once..."

And then went about my merry enjoyment of the book. It actually wasn't until
the other night I started trying to come up with a better Walker design than
what R2 uses (sorry, they just suck...I know it's just the beginning, but
still) when my mind made this quirkish connection.

Sure, if the power of a weapon exceeds the armor rating of "Walker 0", it's
destroyed. But if the armor exceeds the attack...???

I don't know if anyone is really going to be to terribly interested in the
following .. and it is only meant as a joke ... body 0 drones can have as
much armor as they want as per the rules from R2 ... the armor takes up no
space or load reduction at all ... can you say "Indestructo-drone ?"

Again, this is only a joke .. and besides, Keith came up with the notion in
the first place ..
