No, it was just a bad idea. The concept was good, but it ended
there. When I thumbed through it at the bookstore, all I saw was a
bunch of old covers and artwork that was already sitting on my shelf at
home. Now, if they had printed ORIGINAL stuff, or stuff that was
submitted but didn't make the final cut, I woulda been more impressed.
Otherwise, it's paying 20 bucks for some stuff I already have.

According to Damon Harper, at 0:17 on 22 Mar 99, the word on
the street was...

My feelings exactly. That's why I bought it when it was on sale for about
half price :) BTW, there is exactly one piece of art in it that I hadn't
seen before.

Well I thought the book was a very good purchase myself ... first of
all it displayed the whole pictures and there wasn't the annoying
completed cover addons like logos and so forth ... I can agree that I
had already seen and owned most of the pictures but it was a nice
thing to have and as someone (guess it was Gurth) pointed out it is a
great compact book to show to people that never played the game
as a first look what it is all about.

Wish I could use it as an autograph book but then there arn't a whole
lot of SR artist poping up in europe at cons now is there ...

/stefan
