Subject: a stab at some of Minotaur's questions
Date: Mon, 19 Oct 92 09:56:01 -0700
Here's my 2 Y:

>Question #1
If the Magician has a concentration(s) under sorcery, would
an ally then created also have these concentrations and/or
specializations?

-- I can't think of a rule-based yea or nay for this one. I'd say that it
depends on whether or not you consider the process of conjuring an ally
to be creating the ally (from scratch, so to speak), or the process of
molding a free spirit into your preconceptions. If the latter, then I'd
venture that the spirit would have the same concentrations, since that's
what you know.

>Question #2
--More--
Can you ground down an Astrally Projecting Person the same way
you can attack down a foci.

-- I play it as yes, but I guess that we'll just have to wait 'till the new
Grimoire comes out for a vanilla decree.

>Question #6
How long (time) do you folks charge your player to raise a skill?

-- I think of the karma spent as dues paid... I consider the 'training time'
to be the use of the skill in question during runs. I suppose that a
seldom-used skill would need some other justification under my rule, though.

>Question #7
Since Bonelacing affect Unarmed attacks, and Cyberspurs qualify
as Unarmed, would you then deduce that Bonelacing affects Spurs?

-- I think of the unarmed damage bonus as the ability to use more of one's
strength without cracking one's bones. Spurs, which are grafts to existing
bone, wouldn't derive any bonus from those bones being stronger, IMHO.
