How do many of you deal with these little bad boys?
The way the rules read in the Basic book you can quickly conclude that
barriers can be cast upon anything from a car to riot shield to body armor.
For some reason I was under the impression that they only worked on fixed
physical things, like a house or building wall. However, the rules use a
vehicle as an example and say nothing about restrictions for barriers.
This is probably fine with me on some level since SR offensive magic is so
much freaking deadly, that non-awakened are pretty well toast otherwise.
This would also help beef up bad guys, facilities and would explain why
magicians aren't currently ruling the world. :-)
On the other hand there is room for abuse here, but I'm not so sure I mind -
any one else had problems with them?
