I just wanted to throw something in for the hell of it. I usually like to
the use the Knowledge Level Table in the BBB to decide how much detail a
given magician (astral perceiver type) can get from a given situation.
Simple things (common auras and the like) usually begin around 4, with highly
complex stuff going for the 8-10- to Heaven Above...
Also, a magical adept in the group came up with an "Astral Sight" spell and
applied it to some sunglasses a few times. Hence, the group, even the
mundanes, are able to get into the action. Sure, they (the mundanes) had
some curiosities the first few times, and yes the glasses (aka, the
Anchoring) are grounding links to the wearer, but it let those lightning fast
street samurai get into the fights with the Spirits and bypass some of the
Immunity to Normal Weapons crap.
