Meine Kamaraden:

I intend to seek an audience with the Dark Lord on High (for those of
you new to this listserv, that is a reference to Tom Dowd) on the morrow or
perhaps the next day. In the interest of efficiency and freedom of information
(not something which I necessarily believe in; although it does make a good
excuse), I open an offer to the denizens of the ShadowRun list:

For those of you who are yet harboring doubts or quizzical thoughts
regarding some aspect or interpretation of the rules, you may forward
to me questions which you seek to be answered/clarified/expounded upon
by the Dark Lord on High.

PLEASE NOTE: If you decide to take advantage of my offer, please phrase your
questions in a clear, concise manner, for if I fail to understand exactly WHAT
you are inquiring, I shall not proffer the question for the Dark Lord's
perusal. Further, EMPLOY THE SERVICE OF PRIVATE MAIL for this purpose, as I am
disinclined to clutter the Mailserver with these questions.

The call shall be placed on either tomorrow afternoon or the next. Answers,
should Herr Dowd be available, shall be posted (probably) this weekend,
PUBLICLY. I am not willing to dispatch personal replies.

These messages were posted a long time ago on a mailing list far, far away. The copyright to their contents probably lies with the original authors of the individual messages, but since they were published in an electronic forum that anyone could subscribe to, and the logs were available to subscribers and most likely non-subscribers as well, it's felt that re-publishing them here is a kind of public service.
