Some time ago you purchased four SR1-era books from me at a total cost of
NZ$78 (US$39), including P&H. This purchase was finalised in April, but I
have not received payment from you. On June 5, you e-mailed me, saying that
payment was en route and that you would get back to me with a guess as to
when it should arrive. Despite repeated e-mails since, you have not given
me such an update - in fact, I have received no communication from you at
all since that mail of June 5. A two-month wait for a simple 'hi, it should
be there around XXX' is TOO FRIGGIN' MUCH.
You have until 11:45PM, your time, on Monday August 16, to e-mail me with a
status update. If I do not receive such an update by then, the purchase
will be null and void and the goods will be offered to another buyer. Any
payment received from you without further communication will be returned,
subject to a penalty fee of NZ$40 - twenty to cover the cost of the
international cheque, and twenty as aggravation compensation.
In case you have changed e-mail addresses since we last communicated, this
message is being copied to the ShadowRN list at jackpoint.org (Sorry for the
spam, folks).
